The 120-situation hazard simulation — training content

The simulation part plays video clips of traffic situations. You press the space bar at the moment you recognise the hazard.

Scoring

Each clip has a scoring window. Pressing at the start of the window scores 5, declining towards the end; pressing outside it scores 0. Pressing too early — before the hazard appears — also scores nothing.

How to prepare

• Watch all 120 clips first so you know which direction each hazard comes from.
• Train yourself to watch the edges of the frame — most hazards enter from the left or right, not the centre.
• Do not press repeatedly hoping to hit it: a mistimed press loses that clip's marks.
